The Metro State IPD approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion training is that you never arrive at the destination of mastering DEI in the workplace.  Our professional development is about the journey of best practice achieving a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.  The journey starts with cultural awareness and continues through inclusive practices, cross-cultural communication, and striving for social justice.

When your organization feels they can put a check by the DEI professional development box, new employees arrive and best practices for inclusive practices evolve, so the destination changes, and the journey continues.

Regardless of where you or your employees are in your DEI journey, IPD noncredit courses will focus on building a respectful workplace – which is not a fad nor a trend – the workplace culture attracts and retains quality employees.

Journey Together: Embracing DEI as a Lifelong Pursuit offers classes online, at your workplace, or in a Metro State classroom in St. Paul.  Provide 1 or 2 courses to your employees to improve your workplace culture and communication or stack courses for employees to earn a DEI certificate.
