After taking this course, participants will be able to:

  2. Choose meeting approaches based on purpose
  3. Identify the different types of requirements and who plays a role in forming a solution scope to address overall project needs:

  4. Understand different elicitation techniques, including how and when to use them
  5. Apply basic facilitation approaches, including context/scope modeling, context diagrams, and solution diagrams
  6. Appreciate group dynamics and their effect on elicitation
  7. Recognize other impacts on requirements, such as business rules, constraints, assumptions, issues, and risks
  8. Apply basic facilitation approaches, including context/scope modeling, context diagrams, and solution diagrams

Please note that while this course will thoroughly cover the philosophy and concepts in the BABOK® it is not designed to serve as an exam preparation course.

CBAP, Introduction to Business Analysis, or a thorough understanding of the competencies in that course.
