Vince Peeler

Vince Peeler served 25 years in the Navy serving as an electronic countermeasures officer and an intelligence officer while also serving roles as an Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSM).  He served as the Senior Analyst for a counter-terrorism joint interagency task force, Officer-in-Charge of cyber-intelligence analysis team tracking terrorist use of cyber-s[ace and led a Combined Task Group in the Middle East.

Currently, he manages intelligence requirements and collection management for a fortune 10 healthcare company in the Twin Cities.  He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a M.Ed. in learning technologies, where he concentrated on building online learning environments.  Vince is passionate about training and education and was a Master Training Specialist in the Navy and an Assistant Professor of Naval Science.

Jake DeWoskin

Jake DeWoskin (Security+, CySA+, CEH) has a strong professional background in IT-related engineering, cybersecurity, client relationship management, sales, project design, and project team management nurtured through nearly 24 years of diverse roles in information technology communications and services.  Jake’s work is currently focused on structuring cybersecurity solutions for risk quantification, prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery.

Jake currently focuses on cybersecurity knowledge management, centered around strategic security leadership, security systems and secure network design/architecture, risk and security assessment, client relationship management, team leadership and team building, IT and security assessments, service offering development, sales engineering, and industry leading security technologies.

Leonard Jacobs

Leonard Jacobs is President/CEO of Netsecuris Inc., a leading Managed Cyber Defense and Incident Response Provider for businesses specializing in providing cybersecurity protections to the utilities, financial services, manufacturing, and government sectors.  He has 37 years of hands-on technology management experience including over 21 years in cybersecurity.  He has spoken on many cybersecurity topics at conferences around the world and has written many cybersecurity whitepapers.  Leonard is considered an expert in Industrial Control System Cybersecurity.  His work experience includes; IT Management in healthcare, CISO at a major financial institution, and various roles at a major utility working mostly on industrial control systems cybersecurity.  He holds an MS degree in Cybersecurity Technology from the University of Maryland as well as an MBA, along with CISSP certification from (ISC)2, and Certified SCADA Security Architect certification from IACRB.  He serves as co-chair on a U.S. government-funded cybersecurity working group tackling major cybersecurity issues, and on various industry-based cybersecurity working groups.  He has participated in two nationwide National Guard cybersecurity exercises as a civilian.  In addition, he has provided cybersecurity training to MN National Guard units.

Jeff Peal

Jeff Peal is the Information Security Officer and Assistant Corporate Secretary for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.  He has a proven record of success directing a broad range of corporate cybersecurity and information technology initiatives, reflecting an ability to lead, develop, and implement projects and programs.  He has 20 years of cybersecurity and information technology experience and a passion for providing business enabling solutions, while managing to risk tolerance levels defined by executive leadership, and has a demonstrated ability to implement innovative information security and information technology and programs that drive security awareness, increase productivity, decrease unnecessary exposure, and strengthen the organization.  He has a track record of excellent communication with senior management and business leaders by speaking “business” not “technology”.
